Monterey County Management Assistance Team (MCMAT)
The Monterey County Office of Education has long dedicated its staff, resources and services to assisting and supporting Monterey County’s school districts to carry out their educational mission. In the area of school business, the County Office relies primarily on the skills, talents and efforts of its Finance and Business Services Division to provide the leadership and support across the broad array of school operations and finance areas.
The Monterey County Office of Education also provides a variety of services to local school districts through its Monterey County Management Assistance Team (MCMAT). The MCMAT Team is comprised of experienced and highly qualified professionals who can assist your district in identifying, evaluating and clarifying critical challenges, and can provide recommendations, on-site support, training and materials for best practices to address these issues. MCMAT reviews are particularly valuable to new (or less-experienced) superintendents, business officials, and human resource managers, to obtain a clear snapshot of current systems and operations and to learn about best practices.
