About the Department
We respect and value the unique contributions of each of our students and our role in assisting them in becoming responsible, stable, and contributing members of society.
We work to create a supportive learning environment for students who have been expelled from local school districts, have been detained in the county juvenile facilities, or who are otherwise at risk for academic failure. Our programs are unique because of the students we serve. Small classes and individualized approaches meet the needs of each student.
Who We Are
The Alternative Education staff is a diverse group of hard-working, student-oriented educators with expertise in working with at-risk youth.
Service areas include crisis intervention, instruction, health services, curriculum, vocational placement, and other services.
