What we offer
M.E.S.R.P provides a home and school-based family literacy model using intervention practices identified by the National Early Literacy Panel. Our Primary focus is to support Migratory parents, as the child's first teacher, to increase their literacy and parenting skills. We do this with:
- Parent and Child Interactive Literacy Activities
- Parent Education on Child Development
- Nutrition and Health Education
- Family Literacy Nights
- Home- Based service during spring, summer and fall
- Summer Center-Based service provided in partnership with School District
By building parent awareness we help shape a strong educational foundation for lifelong learners. In addition, the School Readiness experience eases the transition from home to school.
