The guidance applies CDC's recommendations to the California context in order to help K-12 schools formulate and implement plans for safe, successful, and full in-person instruction in the 2023-24 school year. This guidance is effective immediately and will be reviewed regularly by CDPH.
Updates as of October 2, 2023:
- The CDPH released the following guidance: Considerations when a Child has Symptoms of Illness in Child Care or School
- The CDPH provided the following information regarding school vaccination reporting: Immunization Reporting.
