Programs that promote the school readiness of infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children from families with low income in Monterey County will be receiving an infusion of funding from the federal government. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services is providing $11,224,830 to Monterey County for its Head Start Programs to support early childhood readiness.
