Soledad, Calif. – Three dynamic presentations by the founder of Litterati will take place for Main Street Middle School students on Friday, April 15, 2016.

For the past four years, the Carmel Ideas Foundation, in conjunction with the Pebble Beach Authors and Ideas Festival, has provided exceptional opportunities for schools to take advantage of the “Festival to Schools” program for middle school and high school students. Renowned speakers are sponsored to go to school sites and speak to large assemblies of students who might not otherwise have the opportunity to hear them.

This Friday, the “Festival to Schools” program welcomes Jeff Kirschner to Main Street Middle School. Mr. Kirschner is an award winning entrepreneur with a successful history in media and online startups. Mr. Kirschner also spent years traveling the globe, where he saw firsthand the challenges we face on a global scale. This led him to starting his latest venture; Litterati – a social movement using Instagram to clean the planet one piece of litter at a time. For more information on Litterati, visit www.litterati.org.

Jeff will be making three presentations at Main Street Middle School on the afternoon of Friday, April 15. The first will be at 1:25, the second at 2:05, and the third at 2:40. Main Street Middle School is located at 441 Main Street, Soledad, Calif. 93960.
