MCOE Bilingual Coordinators Network Resources and 2021-22 Registration
Supporting Biliteracy for Monterey County Students!
The English Learner Support Division of the California Department of Education convenes the Bilingual Coordinators Network (BCN) meetings several times a year. BCN’s purpose is to disseminate polices, research and best practices that relate to English learners in California. Administrators, ELA/ELD lead teachers, lead teachers, K-12 teachers, coaches, and TOSAs are invited to attend!

This network is open to instructional leaders supporting and increasing English Learner achievement. Collaborative participants are district and site instructional leaders working with English Learner initiatives, language program coordinators, directors, instructional coaches and specialists.
Our Work
We are coming together to do the work!
We discuss and reference the latest information, legislation, and research regarding English learner achievement. Our network essentially addresses 4 elements: Policy, Capacity Building, County-wide projects, & Networking. Policies, research and best practices that relate to English Learners from the English Learner Support Division of the California Department of Education will be disseminated.
