Data, Research, and Accountability

The Monterey County Office of Education (MCOE) partners with districts and schools to improve student achievement and overall performance through capacity-building and data-driven practices that support strategic analysis and planning. 

MCOE provides a full range of data services designed to strengthen the capacity of schools and districts to use data for instruction, progress monitoring, and decision-making. Level 1 services may include custom analytics, tailored reports, and interactive dashboards that make data accessible and actionable. Customized Level 2 services are also made available by request. 

MCOE supports educational and community partners in visualizing and analyzing both internal and publicly available data. These dashboards and reports are updated throughout the year to align with statewide data releases, ensuring that insights remain timely and relevant. The goal is to spread and scale the impact of data to improve organizational effectiveness across Monterey County.
