Region 5 Expanded Learning Partnerships, under the auspices of the Monterey County Office of Education, provides free technical assistance to Lead Educational Agencies (LEAs) and Community Based Organization (CBO) partners that receive state and federal funding through After School Education and Safety (ASES), 21st Century Community Learning Center (21st CCLC) and the Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELO-P). Technical Assistance includes training, consultation, coaching and resource brokering to nearly 600 sites serving TK-12th grade students in our four county service area: Monterey, San Benito, Santa Clara and Santa Cruz.

Our goal is to increase LEA and partner capacity to implement compliant and high quality before, after school and summer programs. Grounded in our common vision for student achievement, our team connects internal and external stakeholders to promote cohesion between in school and out of school time. We are committed to promoting innovation through a lens of equity and are driven by our desire to provide year-round learning opportunities that prepare students for college, career and life!
