The Central Coast Mobile Fab Lab is a hub of innovation, creativity, and opportunity dedicated to empowering students, educators, and community members across Monterey County. As a leader in providing cutting-edge technology access and building career pathways in the region, the Fab Lab delivers hands-on, school-centered programming focused on robotics, digital design, and fabrication using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) and CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) tools.

Our mission is rooted in equity. The Fab Lab is founded on the belief that every learner deserves equal access to the tools, knowledge, and support needed to explore, design, and problem-solve using modern digital technologies. Through engaging, standards-based projects and design challenges, we provide students, teachers, and community partners with the skills to succeed in the growing fields of engineering, manufacturing, and digital fabrication.

The lab supports a wide range of 2D and 3D fabrication methods. Our equipment includes:

Multiple types of 3D printers for prototyping and production

Laser cutters for materials like cardboard, wood, and acrylic

Vinyl cutters for sticker and graphic design projects

A CNC router and desktop mill for woodworking and precision machining
