The Healthy Youth Task Force launched in 2018 with representatives from government, education, non-profit, and healthcare sectors working collaboratively on expanding health education across schools in Monterey County. The goal of the task force is to coordinate resources and reduce duplication of services, with a focus on nutrition and physical activity, in order to prevent the rising trend of prediabetes and obesity in children. Each organization offers educational programs for youth across Monterey County. Review the program availability below and reach out to schedule programming for your classroom.
We can’t wait to create a healthier generation, together.
