Fall 2
About Fall 2 Data
Fall 2 data reflect staff demographics, staff assignments, courses sections and student course section enrollments, and Postsecondary Status of the previous year's CTE completers.
There are no special education data reported in Fall 2, only LEA approval is required.
Fall 2 data are sent to the Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) for assignment monitoring in CalSAAS. Data also affect DataQuest (teacher counts, course enrollments, English Learner services), funding (Quality Education Investment Act) EdFacts, and the Consolidated State Performance Report.

PSTS Additional Information
The CDE provides a survey template, which can be found under the Postsecondary Status link above.
LEAs may use a wide variety of methods to obtain the information, including (but not limited to): in-person, phone, post mail, email, social media, and parent interviews.
Surveys go out in January. Results are entered into the LEA's Student Information System, and are subsequently extracted and uploaded to CALPADS as part of their Fall 2 submissions
