The Monterey County Office of Education (MCOE) provides an array of services to support the 24 school districts in the county. MCOE operates direct student programs that are more cost effective and efficient to offer on a countywide basis.  Working with districts, the MCOE can more efficiently offer a broad range of collaborative services and partnerships.  This saves taxpayers money and assists local districts to focus on their primary mission of educating students.

The Monterey County Office of Education services fall under several broad categories including student services, educational services, and finance and business services.

We encourage you to browse our website, specifically under our Programs/Services tab, to learn more about how the MCOE is working to serve and fulfill the mission of public education.

We hope you enjoy exploring our different programs and encourage you to contact us if you have any questions.
