Celebrating Outstanding Students

In 2020, the Monterey County Office of Education launched its Celebrating Outstanding Students Banner Project.

This project celebrates outstanding students who serve as role models to other students.

One way we make academic excellence desirable is to raise up and celebrate excellence. Each year new students will be honored and celebrated on banners sponsored by local businesses.

The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted our youth in profound ways and deprived many from time honored traditions, like graduation ceremonies. We are proud to have our first three banners displayed honoring some of our outstanding graduates at our MCOE Main Campus at 901 Blanco Circle, Salinas.
